PM Modi, Akshay Kumar and other celebrities mourns over filmmaker Neeraj Vora’s death!


Film ‘Hera Pheri‘ director Neeraj Vora who has reportedly been in coma since the last 13 months due to a heart attack, followed by a brain stroke has passes away. He was 54.

The filmmaker was admitted in Criticare Hospital, Andheri. His last rights will be held today at 3PM at the Santa Cruz west cremation ground.

Originally from Gujarat Vora made a mark in Bollywood with his work as a writer for Aamir Khan’s film Rangeela. His directorial debut was Khiladi 420 which was released in 2000.It was in 2006 Vora wrote and directed Phir Hera Pheri and directed many other films after that.

Neeraj’s death left many of his close friends from B-town shell shocked. Many took to Twitter to express their shock and condolences.

PM Narendra Modi wrote, “Saddened by the demise of Neeraj Vora. An energetic and creative personality, he will be remembered for his films and warm nature. My thoughts are with his family and admirers in this sad hour.”


Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar tweet: “One of the main reasons behind my foray into comedy, saddened to hear about the demise of #NeerajVora a multi-talented man, writer, director, actor…a mini industry by himself, learnt so much from him. RIP”



Tusshar Kapoor wrote: “Shocked & saddened to hear of the demise of #Neerajvora ji! Had cast me for Golmaal 1 & directed me in the unreleased Run Bhola Run! RIP sir”


Madhur Bhandarkar wrote, “Sad to hear about the demise of writer & filmmaker #NeerajVoraHe will always be remembered as a very warm, humorous and multi talented person. #OmShanti”
