Meet Shashi Kapoor’s son Karan who gets flop in films, but a successful photographer!

Actor Shashi Kapoor, who has ruled Hindi cinema and won hearts of several people, is no longer in this world. The actor breathed his last at Kolkilaben Ambani Hospital on December 4, 2017 around 5.20 pm. The 79-year-old actor passed away after a prolonged illness.

Shashi Kapoor had been suffering from a kidney ailment and had been undergoing dialysis. Mr Kapoor had been in a wheelchair for years.

The actor, who married to British-based theater artist Jennifer Kendal belongs to Bollywood Kapoor family.

Prithviraj Kapoor’s son and Shammi Kapoor, Raj Kapoor’s brother Shashi Kapoor took care of his three children after his wife’s death. He never impose his decisions on his children. This is why, his children stays away from acting and makes their own identity.

In the film industry, their are so many kids who wants to shine in the world of glamour just like their parents. But Karan Kapoor is one of the star kids who made a different identity.

Shashi Kapoor’s younger son, Karan was a well known model and actor in the early 1980s.

Karan Kapoor is best remembered for his role in ‘Sultanat’ which featured Juhi Chawla as his female lead. He was also seen in Loha36 Chowringhee LaneJunoon and Zalzala, apart from The Jewel in the Crown and The Tooting Lions on TV. He got more movies due to father Shashi Kapoor’s stardom but he couldn’t make his mark in bollywood.

Karan later quit acting and he later moved towards photography and decided to be a part of this profession. He is now an established photographer in London.

In an earlier interview, Karan said that he was always interested in photography since his childhood even though being a part of very famous Bollywood family of Kapoors. Now, he lives in Chelsea, London with his wife Lorna, his daughter Aliya, and Zach, his son.
